SALMON OIL QUESTIONS

How much salmon oil should I give my dog?
Give ½ teaspoon per 10 lbs of body weight, poured over food at mealtime. That is about 2½ teaspoons for a 50 lb dog and 4 teaspoons for an 80 lb dog. If your dog is new to fish oil, you can start with a smaller amount and build up to the full serving over a week.
Can puppies have Bully Max Omega-3 Salmon Oil?
Yes. It is made for puppies, adults and seniors of any breed or size. Use the same ½ teaspoon per 10 lbs serving, based on your puppy's current weight. DHA helps support healthy brain development in puppies.
How long until I see a shinier coat?
Many owners notice a softer, shinier coat after a few weeks of daily use. Results vary by dog, diet and grooming. If your dog has ongoing skin problems, see your veterinarian.
Do I need to refrigerate it after opening?
No. Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. If it will sit above 86°F, store it in the fridge. Once opened, use it within 45 days at room temperature or 90 days refrigerated.
Is salmon oil a replacement for dog food?
No. It is a supplement for intermittent or supplemental feeding, so keep feeding a complete and balanced food such as Bully Max 30/20 High Protein. Check with your veterinarian before adding any supplement if your dog has a health condition or takes medication.
